Footage from his Monterey, Woodstock, London, and Isle of Wight performances includes songs like "Wild Thing," "Purple Haze," and "Hear My Train A-Comin'," and interviews with Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton, and Little Richard capture the rock community's sense of loss and admiration for Hendrix in the years immediately following his death.
