The Pixies formed in Boston in 1986 and enjoyed moderate success. Six years later, they split amidst acrimony and anger. In the time since, despite little communication with one another, they have become one of the most influential bands of the eighties. In 2004, The Pixies reunited. This documentary covers the year leading up to their final performance.
