A collection of Chaplin's humorous, silent short films produced at Essanay Studios and the Mutual Film Company. v. 7 presents the life of silent film star Eric Campbell, who appeared in many of Chaplin's films as a villain, and follows the life of the actor from Dunoon, Scotland, through his years in the music halls to his short but intense film career and the bizarre final six months of his life before he was killed in an automobile accident in December 1917.
