Summary:
This documentary presents the life of Pete Seeger, the American singer and songwriter who was one of the founders of the folk music revival in the 1960s. Due to his strong beliefs and ideals, Seeger was protested against, blacklisted, and banned from television for more than 17 years. This film combines archival footage with films made by Seeger and his wife Toshi to document Seeger's life as an artist and activist, and his belief in the power of song and the individual's ability to make a difference.
