|Date/Time and Place of an Event Note:||
Recorded at the Media Lab, Learning Center at Berklee College of Music, Boston, Mass., on Tues., June 16, 2009 at 6:00 p.m.
In this forum, the Learning Center staff discuss types of microphones, audio interfaces, cable connections and stereo mic'ing techniques while recording some tracks. They walk through a recording setup, explaining all the steps, and recorded bass, guitar (mic'ing a guitar amp and discussing techniques) trombone, sax and vocals. This gves them a wide variety of instruments to record, and we used multiple types of microphones and mic'ing techniques. Come next week as we show audio editing techniques using what we recorded tonight.
